Celebrating our 20th year - The Wings of Freedom Tour has completed 2,387 national stops. Over 2009 the tour visited 37 states and was seen by millions of people. In spite of the tumultuous economic environment - the tour flys on! This is all made possible by the dedication and hard work of volunteers and stop organizers around this great country. At each stop there are volunteers who promote the tour, arrange accommodations for the crew, manage operational logistics, contact the local schools and help “turn the props.” Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who helped keep these treasures of American history alive for all to see and experience.

Congratulations to the Collings Foundation's Houston crew for bringing the A-4 and F-4 jets to the Randolph AFB Air show! These legendary aircraft performed beautifully and made for a real entertaining flight display. Check our web site for future air shows and events where the jets will be flying.

Rob Collings met with the heads of the FAA on November 17th. Through the support from people all around the United States we have begun to emphasize to the FAA the importance of keeping these aircraft accessible to the general public. We are hopeful that with cooperation and hard work our flight exemptions for these aircraft will be approved soon. Thank you for your support! New cool products added to the PX Store for the holiday season.
In time for the gift-giving season, we have added several new items to our online PX store. We always look forward to stocking up on 2010 calendars from Ghosts and Bomber Legends. The pictures are exceptional! Get one to decorate your wall - very nice. Several new high quality hand crafted models of the Collings Foundation's aircraft have been added.
