To our dedicated Wings of Freedom Tour supporters: The 2018 Wings of Freedom Tour season will end after this weekend at Hilton Head Island, SC and will not continue through November 11th as originally planned. Some maintenance issues require attention and we will be bringing the fleet into our winter maintenance period a week early to prepare for the 2019 Wings of Freedom Tour. We will be rescheduling the Leesburg, FL visit for our 2019 tour starting in Florida in January - our 30th Anniversary Season!

We thank everyone who has visited, flown, and supported the effort this year - we truly couldn't accomplish the magnitude of our annual 110 city, ten month nationwide tour without your support!

Our winter maintenance period is very important to the long-term health of the tour – your generosity to help keep the Wings of Freedom Tour alive for our future generations is greatly appreciated. Please consider an end of the year gift to keep our work progress going over the winter. Thank you!

And on the 7th Day, God Created the F-4 Phantom and this morning he took it for a flight. Was not expecting to see this at Ellington Field this morning, hence the shaky / excited camera work. Yes, the only remaining F-4 Phantom flying in North America thanks to the Collings Foundation is Alive and Well !!!!

Collings Foundation

How can I help support the Collings Foundation?

It costs over $60,000 to replace just one B-24 engine…

Operating costs on the B-17 have reached over $4,000 per hour of flight time…

F-4 operating costs have soared to over $9,000 per hour and show no sign of reducing…

…These are but some of the reasons why the Collings Foundation needs your help.

Yearly the Collings Foundation relies on the support of corporate and personal donations, monetary and in-kind donations. Any help to defray operations expenses, equipment replacement, and maintenance costs preserves the mission of the Collings Foundation, and enables us to keep it alive for future generations.

Yet we find the costs increase with each year and donations never seem to cover it all. Now more than ever, your contribution counts.

There are many ways you can help, and we offer many options to add value to your donation. As a 501c3 Non-Profit Educational Foundation, all contributions may be eligible for corporate matching funds to stretch your contribution farther.

Give to our Annual Fund

Do you want to help the most pressing needs at the Collings Foundation? Consider a donation to our Annual Fund. All donations to the Annual Fund help support year-end operations, maintenance, restorations, and development of our educational program planning for the next year.

Membership & Sponsorship Levels

There are many contribution and membership levels you may contribute under; each with their own distinct benefits.

Contributions may be made through cash, check or money order, or Mastercard or Visa. Donations of appreciated stock are also accepted.

Continue your support!
If you are already a Member, Sponsor or Donor we encourage you to continue to donate and take your commitment to the next level. These larger donations make a substantial difference in our ability to develop new and unique programs.

  • Medal of Honor: $100,000 and up
  • Platinum Plane Sponsor: $50,000 – $99,000
  • Gold Plane Sponsor: $25,000 – $49,999
  • Silver Plane Sponsor: $10,000 – $24,999

Monetary donations are essential and our greatest need. There are a variety of ways to support the Collings Foundation. Estate provisions, IRA payments, foundation grants and stock are always appreciated. Over ninety-five cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our programs including operations, maintenance, restoration and endowment for the future. With your help we can “Keep ‘Em Flying”.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate Sponsors are crucial to the operation of the Collings Foundation. Their donations keep our aircraft flying and well equipped to operate for years to come.
